SAN BERNARDINO HERO SOLAR FINANCING PROGRAM OPENS UP TODAY!
The County of San Bernardino opened up it’s HERO solar Financing program today. HERO financing was previously only in Riverside County. HERO financing allows homeowner’s the ability to finance their solar panel install on their property tax bill. By homeowner’s moving their solar payment over to your property tax bill you also qualify for a write off that homeowner’s wouldn’t have before.The program is not based off of your FICO score. In order to qualify you need 10% equity in your home, and no 30 day late payments on your property tax and mortgage for the last 12 months. If so, you will qualify up to 10-15% of your home value towards purchasing your solar system.
Here’s a list of the new City’s/area’s that qualify as of today;
Adelanto, Chino, County of San Bernardino, Hesperia, Montclair, Rancho Cucamonga, Victorville, Apple Valley, Chino Hills, Fontana, Needles, Redlands, Twenty Nine Palms, Yucaipa, Big Bear, Colton, Grand terrace, Loma Linda, Ontario, Rialto, Upland, and Yucca Valley.
